Ormond Beach Remodel

Our clients wanted to create a new layout in the kitchen, enclose the rear patio to create more living space, remodel two guest bathrooms and add new flooring throughout great room and kitchen.

The original kitchen layout made it seem like the kitchen and great room were all in one space.  We reoriented the island to face toward the rear of the house and added a half wall between the living space and what will become the dining area.  The original great room was long and narrow, by enclosing the rear patio we added 250 square feet of living space.

The homeowners selected red oak wood flooring stained a reddish color for the kitchen and living area.  The kitchen cabinetry is Mantra Omni in snow with a Cambria Quartz Travella Polished countertop.  The sink is a farmhouse style sink by Moen and the fixture is from the Kohler Bellera Semi-professional line in brushed nickel.  Possini Euro Verndale pendant lights in Brushed Nickel were added above the island.

We moved the water heater from one of the guest baths to the utility room which allowed us to enlarge the shower.  Our clients selected Del Conca Gotham in Matte Charcoal for the bathrooms and laundry room floors.  The shower wall and tub surround tile is Marazzi Middleton Square. The shower floor and accent tile are Ocean Stone mosaic in black.  The vanities are Chatham vanities in gray with Carrara white vanity tops.  Glass shower and tub enclosures were added.  The plumbing fixtures are from the Kohler Avid collection in brushed nickel.  The vanity lights are from the Possini Euro line.  The laundry room cabinetry is Mantra Omni in snow.

As the job progressed our clients added a new entry door and asked us to paint the interior in shades of light gray and silver with white accents and the exterior in Benjamin Moore Gray Timer Wolf with Bermuda Teal as an accent color on the entry door.
